![]() I can click "Check Updates" but nothing happens and nothing shows. After the uninstall, Armory Crate now just shows the entire Update Center page as blank. Unfortunately Step #2-3 Just doesn't work for me at all. Must be an issue with latest versions, but no way I can find to get the previously working versions. Tried these instructions to remove the service and let Crate reinstall. I just finished my build and installed all the latest (Crate, iCue, plugin) and it didn't work. Just remember that it will only work if iCue app is also open. You can now control the ram RGB with Aura Sync via Armory Crate. Open Armory Crate > Aura Sync section and the RAM should now be an option to select. Open iCue then go to the Settings tab at the top and under the ram icon click the box that says something to the effect of enable full software control. Download and install the Corsair RAM Aura sync plugin which I’m sure you’ve already done.ĥ. Wait for it to finish Downloading and then Close Armory Crate app.Ĥ. Go into the Asus Armory Crate > Update Center sectionģ. Go to add/remove programs in windows and uninstall “Aura Service” and nothing else.Ģ. Hope this gives someone an idea on how to solve this problem.I was having this same exact problem and finally found a fix that worked. and now I have something called aura lighting effect. did they have a fight, and now not accommodating them anymore? Note: in my previous build I had a uninstall able program called "Patriot" I always wondered if that was wrong because I have gskill ram not Patriot ram. ![]() When I looked up aura creator it doesn't say anything about gskill compatible. I have uninstalled everything properly and reinstalled them in different orders. My ram does not light up anymore at this time. Note my gskill software cant control my ram at all, ever. Then after an update the devices were back. I had to download gskill software for amoury crate to detect ram, plus had to power off pc for 15 sec. 01-04-2023 02:52 AM hi, A short time ago, my Armoury didnt detect devices in the Aura Sync tab. But aura creator only detects mother board and lighting strips, not ram. I caved and installed armoury crate, (its growing on me!) Now after some updates I have armoury crate detecting everything. ![]() I search forums to see if anyone had or solved this problem of mine. I leave it for a month or so, until it starts bothering me again. When asked if you want to save changes, click Yes. So I call asus, they tell me its a bad board send it in to fix. Click the Link/Unlink button beneath the DRAM icon the icon will change to white when linked. but nothing else worked, not the motherboard or my case lighting which is phantek from my previous build which I know it works. My ram worked and did exactly what I want it to do which is comet. As included in the FAQ, the Aura SDK do not support ASUS Aura partners products, including G.skill or Team Group. I never installed it first on this build. Hi, i have both G.Skill Trident Z RAM and Team Group Night HAWK and neither are detected by the SDK. ASUS’ software definitely has its faults but this situation isn’t an issue that they’re responsible for. Corsair products on the other hand are always a problem with ASUS motherboards. I can control the Motherboard & Memory LEDs using their respective softwares but Asus Aura still does not detect my memory modules to control the RGB LEDs of the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (CMW16GX4M2C3000C15). Installed the latest Asus Aura Software, Corsair iCue and Corsair Aura Sync plug-in. But funny enough I don"t like armoury crate. Over the years I’ve used RAM and various peripherals from other vendors using Aura Sync/Armoury Crate with little to no issues. I have updated the motherboard to the latest bios. I did have asus board and all the same software. I went from amd to intel, RGB worked fine. Ok, So I have a 64 gb ram kit 3200 CL14 which I pulled from my previous build. ![]() Network: Intel(R) Ethernet Controller (3) I225-V Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 11264 MBĭrive: SSD, Samsung SSD 970 PRO 1TB, 953.87 GBĭrive: SSD, Samsung SSD 960 PRO 1TB, 953.87 GB Product Name: ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4
